We are excited to get settled into our new "digs". We will be closed June 1 through June 6 to get moved and set up, please excuse the confusion but we are excited for the move. and hope that you will be too! Our new home is closer to the Penobscot River, we can actually see the river from our front window! We looking forward to serving you in our new location.
Welcome to the Annika Rod and Fly website. Our shop, located a few double hauls from the Penobscot River in central/eastern Maine. We cater to the fly tying, fly fishing and rod building community. Without you, our friends, old and new, we would not be here.
In addition to helping you pick out fly tying materials, recommending a new vise, tools, rod, reel or line, we can help recommend flies for our local waters. We can also help hook you up with a Registered Maine guide, custom tie your favorite flies, fix your broken rod and offer a pretty decent FREE cup of coffee!

If you are thinking about a new vise, drop by and try one out. Our extensive vise selection is second to none. Grab one, sit at the table and give it a whirl! We also share "nuggets of knowledge" as discussed in this short video from Echo Fly Fishing called Fly Shop Strong. The people that come through our door, are our friends and we will do anything we can to make your fishing/tying experiences more enjoyable.
Though we would like to, we don't have everything. However we try to have a good mix of traditional materials as well as the latest and greatest. If we don't have it and we can get it, we certainly will try. We are tyer junkies at heart and we LOVE to try new "stuff".
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced tyer, everyone gets treated the same, we were all beginners at one time or another (for SOME of us that was a LONG time ago).
