Classic Salmon fly a la Muzeroll

Sunday, December 3, 2006 was another great day of
tying at the Annika Rod and Fly war room. The fly for the day
was a feather-wing classic Atlantic Salmon fly, the Maine Game
Warden. Sensei Ed Muzeroll was again at the top of his game as
he lead his troops to the promised land, a completed work of art.
Lady Di again worked her magic in the culinary department with a
lunch of biscuits and chicken corn chowder and for dessert, warm
ginger bread! It doesn't get any better than this!

ARF hats show up in the
darndest places

Registered Maine Guide Marshall DeMott was recently
photographed while fishing in Florida donning (no pun intended) his
lucky Annika Rod and Fly hat. Oh, nice fish too Marsh!

Great Day on the mighty Penobscot!
Jim Hayes and I spent a simply marvelous day on the water with
Captain John Rogers of Backcountry Guide Service on Sunday, June 25,
2006. The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the fish were VERY
cooperative. Top water action at it's best! Click on the
picture of John for more pictures.

Jim, John and Don

The weather finally cleared and the water drop a little
and we met up with Captain John Rogers of Backcountry Guide Service.
Jim used the ol' favorite, Sneaky Pete and Don used his Lady Di Frog and
the fish couldn't resist. Jim used a 6 weight floating line on his
9' 6 wt St. Croix rod that he built. Don used his favorite bass
combo, a custom built 9' 7 wt and an 8 wt floating line. Click on
the photo of Jim and John for more exciting pictures.
