The Mighty Kennebec, 2005
Marshall, Ernie and Don

Ernie MacDonald and I experienced a wonderful day
on the mighty Kennebec with guide/fishing friend
Marshall Demott on Sunday, October 2, 2005. Marshall was a
wealth of knowledge during the 8 hour float. He put us on some
very nice browns and rainbows rising to flying ants and blue winged
olives. We were able to coax a few to the boat. It was a
day of dry fly fishing, 5x tippets, size 18 and 20's and reading
glasses to tie on flies! If you want a trip you won't forget
contact Marshall or Mike Holt at
Fly Fishing Only.

Hank and Don

Captain John Rogers of Backcountry Guide Service,
yours truly and my
final fish of a great day of fishing with Hank Metcalf. I was
using a
custom built 9' 7 wt., floating 8 wt. line and a Penobscot River
delicacy, a Sneaky Pete. For more pictures of the trip click
